Dae Yaremko is a multidisciplinary artist with an ever-shifting practice, but a particular love for printmaking, installation work and textiles. They blend traditional folk crafts and fine art practices with influences from their Ukrainian heritage, the natural world and environmentalism.

Their work focuses heavily on cultural transmission and personal transformation through the lens of family heritage; both that which is and is not passed between generations. Yaremko seeks to fill in the gaps of familial and generational knowledge through fantastical narrative drawn from folklore, weaving together fantasy and reality.

Yaremko completed their BFA at the University of Regina.
